Best dog breeds for apartments
Say it with us, “Low Activity Needs.” No dog that requires more than an hour of daily exercise is going to be happy in an apartment, no matter what size they are. That being said, many large breeds simply won’t fit anywhere in an efficiency space. Several breeds, like the Maltese or the Chinese Crested were bred solely as companions, are small, and will be still for hours on end. If you’re an active single living in the city, look for a medium spaniel breed as your best bet. While these dogs do love their daily runs and stint at the dog park, many of them are geared to follow your lead—couch time is great too!
